Frequently asked questions
Buyers
What is TOPIC?
TOPIC is a B2B marketplace that brings together the exhibitors and products of the trade shows EXPORUM runs. Browse by trade show or category, or search, then send suppliers an inquiry.
Why can't I see product prices?
Some products have no listed price, and the supplier shares it after receiving an inquiry. Send one from the product page with the quantity and what you need. We email you when the supplier replies.
Do I need an account to send an inquiry?
Yes. Sign in to send an inquiry. You can browse products and suppliers without an account.
Where do I see replies to my inquiries?
We email you when a supplier replies. After you sign in, find your inquiries and replies under Inquiries in your dashboard.
What is the difference between an inquiry and an RFQ?
An inquiry is a conversation with a supplier about a product or company. An RFQ (request for quotation) asks the supplier for a quote on set terms such as quantity and delivery date. Send an inquiry first, then choose "Send RFQ" in that conversation. Quotes you receive appear under RFQs in your dashboard.
Do I need to sign in to use favorites?
No, but without signing in, your favorites stay in this browser for only 7 days. Sign in to keep them.
Do contracts and payments happen on TOPIC?
No. Buyers and suppliers can discuss terms on TOPIC through inquiries and RFQs. Contracts and payment are handled directly between them, outside TOPIC.
A product's details look wrong.
Suppliers enter and manage their own product details. If something is wrong, please contact TOPIC with a link to the page.
Suppliers and exhibitors
Who can register as a supplier?
Exhibitors at EXPORUM trade shows. Open the link in the message from the organizer, then enter your business registration number and the email address on your booth application. We then email you a link to set your password.
The password setup email hasn't arrived.
We send it only when your business registration number and email match your booth application. Please check your spam folder too. If you still can't find it, please contact TOPIC.
Does my store close after the show?
No. Your store and product pages stay open after the show ends.
I don't want my store to be public.
Please contact TOPIC with your company name and business registration number. After checking, we make your store private.
For how it works, what to prepare and each show's dates, see the exhibitor guide.
